To be able to provide college students with education like this is a win-win.” said Dr. Jon Gayer, Assistant Director of Alcohol & Drug Education.

UNL students now have free access to gamified, college-tailored substance misuse prevention training covering opioid overdose response, fentanyl, cocaine, benzodiazepines, MDMA, and alcohol.

Upon completion, students receive certification and free Narcan so that the entire UNL community has the ability to prevent, recognize, and respond to overdose emergencies.

The University offers the DopaGE Overdose Prevention Portal as their primary mechanism of Overdose Prevention and Response Training through the Office of Alcohol & Drug Education.
