Industry Update | What is The New Drug Talk?

The New Drug Talk has the “mission of supporting parents and caregivers as they talk with their children and young people about fentanyl, the dangers of counterfeit pills, and the new chemical drug landscape.” The site provides education, free tools, and expert advice for families to have more open conversations about staying safe from the overdose epidemic. 

Their learning materials are built for parents of middle school, high school, and post high school children that could potentially be experimenting with drugs, using drugs regularly, or just want to know more about the threat fentanyl may have. 

DopaGE is a Silver Partner of The New Drug Talk, and Madeline Hilliard, CEO, is a resident expert of its content advisory board. Other partners include Meta, ABC Owned Television Stations, Know Drugs, ADAPT, Ad Council, and more. It was produced by Song For Charlie in partnership with the California Department of Health Care Services (CDHCS).
